OJSC  ‘Northern Caucasus Resorts’ published on its official website information for potential participants in the project of creating all-season tourism and recreation complex Arkhyz in Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Investors and developers can familiarize with the development plan for the resort and select  business objects for investment and construction within the framework of the first tourist village of the resort – Romantic.

The company's website ( http://ncrc.ru/ru/page/predlozhenie-po-uchastiyu-v-proekte ) submitted  the draft plan area of the resort Arkhyz, the master plan of the tourist village Romantic, sketches of architectural solutions of tourist infrastructure, the list of facilities planned for construction. Besides, it is also published the information regarding assistance for potential participants of the project in order to obtain the residential status of a special economic zone including a list of required documents.

According to the documents, the hotel infrastructure of the village Romantic provides more than 8 thousand placements. In particular, it is planned to build 3 four-star hotels, 33 three-star hotels, 44 cottages. In the village there will be two restaurants and a fitness center. In addition, there will be a number of household, administrative and service buildings, including a gas station, car parks, fire department.

Currently, in the village are  installed two lifts with a total capacity of over 4000 people per hour and four ski slopes are equipped. Construction of six hotels and a number of administrative and service buildings is conducted. The village is connected to communications: it is fully provided with electricity, construction of systems of a water intake, water supply and the sewerage are almost completed, served by natural gas, the road is built.

According to the plans of construction, the resort Arkhyz will include four tourist villages: Romantic, Moon Valley, Dukka and Pkhiya with 30 thousand placements. All the tourist villages are planned to connect among themselves with the single system of 63 lifts and 264 ski slopes of various difficulty with a total length of 312 km, which will allow travelers to move freely between the settlements on skis. The design is based on the principle of villages «Ski in - ski out» (in Russian practice - "Riding on the door"), which provides the most comfortable skiing: on skis it will be possible to drive up to the majority objects of tourist facilities - hotels, restaurants, shops and so on . After the output of the full capacity, the flow of tourists to Arkhyz will exceed 500 thousand people per year.

*** OJSC  ‘Northern Caucasus Resorts’ — the operator of the project of creation of a tourist cluster in the North Caucasus federal district, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. The project provides construction of the network of world class mountain-skiing resorts: Lagonaki (Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Adygea), Arkhyz (the Karachay-Cherkess Republic), Elbrus-Bezengi (the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria), Mamison (the Republic of North Ossetia — Alania), Matlas (the Republic of Dagestan), Tsori and Armkhi (the Republic of Ingushetia). There will be also created beach resorts on the coast of the Caspian Sea (the Republic of Dagestan) and balneological facilities in the region of Kavkazskie Mineralnye Vody (the Stavropol Region). The planned total length of ski runs will be over 1000 km with 250 ski lifts. There will be built hotels, apartments and villas with varying comfort levels. They will accommodate about 170 000 people.

The project is financed as a public-private partnership. The Russian government invests in transport and utilities infrastructure through OJSC Northern Caucasus Resorts, private business finances the objects of the resort infrastructure.
